A musical journey with colors on paper.

Traces is an interpretation of Anton Bruckner's music – his spherical sounds, monumental tones, and atmospheric spaces. What emerges is a score, drawn and painted on white paper. The score is a map on which and through which we navigate. Wherever we go, we leave traces.

Every place we visit leaves traces within us. Inside us is a colorful map, with rivers, mountains, valleys, lakes – constantly growing and changing. We step into the footsteps of those who have been here before. And I follow your trace to find my own path. Our traces are audible and visible at the same time. They sound and open a space.

In this piece, we open a space for encounters and invite the audience to leave their traces with color. A shared map is created, which will look different each time. We follow the sounds of Anton Bruckner, build bridges, and swim in lakes. Dance at Traunstein and celebrate with forest fairies.

theater.nuu – Performance for young people – was founded in 2012 by Sarah Gaderer and Laura-Lee Jacobi. The focus of their work is on opening spaces that allow for an aesthetic encounter between the young audience and the performers. When working for a (often very) young audience, they want to open spaces that allow room – for individual experiences and imagination.
