The Bruckner organ is still played at night by the spirit of Anton Bruckner.

One day, three of the organ pipes decide not to stay in the dark organ case any longer. They set out to seek their fortune in the world. Bruckner's spirit is desperate!

Only one can help: enter Kasperl!

A wild chase through musical landscapes begins…

Premiered in honor of Anton Bruckner's 200th birthday in 2024. Created in collaboration with the Children's Cultural Center Kuddelmuddel in Linz.

  • Gerti Tröbinger...

    (Born in 1959) has been involved in theater and puppetry since her training as a kindergarten teacher (1973-1977). She underwent puppeteer training from 1993 to 1996. Gerti works as an independent puppeteer and puppet builder, both solo and in various ensembles and theaters (e.g., the association denk:spiel, Landestheater Linz, Theater der Jugend-Wien...). She has been the artistic director of the "International Welser Figurentheaterfestival" since 2009.

    Maximilian Tröbinger...

    (Born in 1989) studied "Contemporary Puppetry" at the HfS Ernst Busch Berlin from 2016 to 2020. He works as a freelance puppeteer and director in various ensembles and theaters (e.g., the association denk:spiel, Burgtheater-Wien, Lovefuckers-Berlin...)

    Mother and son perform together in several productions on stage.
