About the Group:
The Studio Damúza was founded in 1999 by students of DAMU - the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. It serves as a production department supporting emerging theatre artists and ambitious projects by students and graduates. The focus is on original productions, particularly in the field of puppetry, art, and object theatre for both children and adults. Studio Damúza provides young, aspiring artists with the opportunity to realize their own theatre projects and gain practical experience, while professional artists have the freedom for independent work, creativity, and opportunities for experimentation and self-expression.
