A puppet show for children (but not only for children) aged 4 and up (and also for adults aged 4 and up), based on the well-known fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm.

The cast includes: large fabric figures (life-sized) and small fabric figures (perhaps about the length of a cubit) and a narrator (life-sized) and clever children (also life-sized, roughly). Additionally, there will be: some straw and gold and a few sacks of flour.

About the Group:
Lille Kartofler Figurentheater from Langenfeld in the Rhineland – behind it is the puppeteer Matthias Kuchta.

For 43 years, he has been staging fairy tales by the Brothers Grimm and the Danish fairy tale poet Hans Christian Andersen with his impressive, large fabric figures. He is a crowd-puller – from Osaka, Vancouver, Boston to Paris, Copenhagen, Dublin, and Rome.

For many years, Lille Kartofler Figurentheater has also been a regular and welcome guest at the puppet theater festival in Wels.
