La Pendula (D)
Ms. Hirschberg Home Alone

From 12 years | Duration: 50 minutes

STADTTHEATER WELS
Saturday June 15, 2024 | 8:30 p.m.

In the play "Ms. Hirschberg Home Alone," genres blend together, including drama, puppetry, object theater, and contemporary circus.

A suddenly appearing coat, controlled hands, floating feet, a delicate little creature, voices... The otherwise orderly life of Ms. Hirschberg is suddenly thrown into disarray. Memories, images, and emotions creep into her consciousness. On a surreal level of experience, she is involuntarily caught up in her past and confronted with events from her childhood.

The story of Ms. Hirschberg touches on themes that we can all relate to to some extent. It deals with vulnerability and loneliness, the longing for security, loss through death, and the rediscovery of life.

  • About the Group:
  • Larissa Dingler works as a freelance artist on, behind, and for the stage. Under the name La Pendula, she experiments with the fusion of aerial acrobatics, physical theater, and puppetry. The design and self-production of puppets and props are part of her stage work. In "Ms. Hirschberg Home Alone," she explores new narrative movement repertoire with a self-designed aerial prop and plays with new forms of expression in the fusion of different genres.
